Organize your week with Copilot Cowork
Organize your week around what matters. This video introduces Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork and how it uses Work IQ to analyze meeting priorities, resolve scheduling conflicts, automate follow-up tasks, and book focus time. Watch the video to see how Copilot Cowork turns a busy schedule into a workable one.
How does Copilot Cowork help me organize my week?
Copilot Cowork helps you rethink how you start your week by taking on the manual triage of your calendar. Instead of you scanning through every meeting, Copilot Cowork reviews your schedule for you and highlights what needs your attention.
Because it’s connected to Work IQ, it understands your overall schedule and priorities. It can see which meetings are likely to matter most, where there are conflicts, and where you might be overbooked. From there, it recommends which meetings to accept, decline, or reschedule, so you can quickly shape a week that fits your real work.
The result is a cleaner, more intentional week with more time reserved for the work that matters, without you having to manage every detail yourself.
What does it mean that Copilot Cowork is connected to Work IQ?
When we say Copilot Cowork is connected to Work IQ, we mean it has context about your work patterns and schedule, not just a static view of your calendar.
Through this connection, Copilot Cowork can:
- Understand your schedule in context, not just as a list of events.
- Identify which meetings matter more based on timing, conflicts, and your broader workload.
- Surface conflicts that could disrupt your day or week.
- Recommend actions on each meeting: whether to accept, decline, or reschedule.
This helps you reimagine calendar management from a manual, time-consuming task into a guided process where you make decisions with better information and less effort.
What follow-up and focus-time tasks does Copilot Cowork automate?
Copilot Cowork doesn’t stop at recommending which meetings to keep or move. It also takes care of the follow-through so you don’t have to.
Specifically, Copilot Cowork can:
- Draft follow-up emails to meeting organizers when you decline or reschedule, so you can communicate clearly without writing every message from scratch.
- Find open time on your calendar and suggest slots you can use for focused work.
- Help you easily book focus time so it’s protected on your schedule.
By automating these steps, Copilot Cowork helps you reshape your week into one that balances meetings with meaningful focus time, without a lot of manual calendar work.
